MiSync for Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Exchange Version 1.0 Released!

Wednesday, November 26th, 2008

Metisc today announced that the long awaited MiSync for Microsoft Dynamics CRM product has shipped. Version 1.0 of the product allows for one directional or bi directional synchronization of Contacts between Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Exchange.

The tool works with Exchange 2000, 2003 and 2007 and uses a combination of MAPI and CDO objects to accomplish Synchronization. A single copy can be used to replicate hundreds, thousands or even hundreds of thousands of contacts between Dynamics and Exchange.

Version 1.0 replication places all contacts into a Shared Folder in Exchange. Exchange users should ensure that Shared Folder support is switched on. This is also a requirement if you are using older versions of Outlook or any version of Entourage for OSX as an Exchange client.

Calendaring synchronization features will release in Version 1.1 of MiSync for Dynamics CRM. There is no increase in the cost of MiSync for Calendaring - and existing clients will recieve this funcationality as part of their 12 months complimentary maintenance and upgrades.

Pricing for MiSync is based on the greater of either the total number of Microsoft Dynamics Client Access Licenses in operation, or the total Number of Microsoft Exchange Client Access Licenses in operation.
